Securing a Sturdy Front Door for Your Home

Date: 20/09/17

If you are looking to upgrade your home security there will be a number of factors that you need to consider. From the alarm systems in place, locks on doors and windows and assessing the security of the perimeter you can make a few changes. The first place to look, however, should always be how sturdy your front door is, as this is the focal entry point to your home.

ERA 3 * Door Locks

ERA supply a choice of 3* door cylinder options to lock your doors to any potential burglars in your area. The Fortress 3* euro profile cylinder has anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-pick and anti-drill protection; or for a lock that offers the same protection and a very strong visual deterrent there is the 3* Invincible door cylinder.

The locks are reinforced and have a completely different shape to the standard Euro cylinder. All it will need is one close look at your front door and a seasoned burglar will know that it isn’t worth their time to even attempt to break-in to your property. A potential attack made on this cylinder for as long as 15 minutes means it still won’t snap, and would still be in a condition that is good enough for you to come home and enter your key.

For those wanting a new door with an Invincible or Fortress cylinder we offer the complete door security hardware package, reinforced with the ERA Total Security Guarantee, with a replacement door and a cheque for £5,000, should a break-in take place.

For more information about our total security products, please contact the ERA on 01922 490 050 and we’ll be happy to offer advice and guidance about your property. Your front door should be the most secure aspect of your property; we can help you make that a reality.
